Sure, you can get a pig in a pancake, but wouldn’t you rather also save hundreds of dollars on needed home repairs this year while munching on your deep-fried treat or checking out the world’s largest boar at the
Indiana State Fair?
Angie’s List can make that happen for you.
“Angie’s List is all about high quality service at a fair price,” said Angie’s List Founder Angie Hicks and a consistent Fair-goer. “This year we’re going whole hog at the fair. In addition to our normal outreach and consumer education, we’re offering six super deals that offer savings from 50 percent to 60 percent on things ranging from heating and air conditioning service, to mold remediation, organizational help, walk-in tub installation and pet sitting.”
Angie’s List, the nation’s premier provider of
consumer reviews on local
doctors and service providers, began offering group coupons in June, saving consumers across the country more than $400,000 on home and health-related services.
“Everyone loves a great deal, but getting a great deal on sub-par service isn’t a bargain at all,” Hicks said. “The Angie’s List Big Deal offers great prices from service companies who first have to earn a solid record of being a highly rated service.”
Angie’s List has had a presence at the Indiana State Fair for nine years where it partners up with highly rated companies to offer consumer advice and discounted membership sales. This year, 45 companies will be providing presentations, tips and information about how homeowners can maintain or improve their home and property.
To take in some of the great advice and the deals, stop by the Angie’s List Resource Stage in the State Fair Gardens throughout the running of the Fair August 6-22. Hicks will join 93 WIBC’s Home and Garden experts Dick Crum and Pat Sullivan, for part of their annual State Fair broadcasts Saturday, August 14 within the 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. time slot.
Launched in Indianapolis in May, the Angie’s List Big Deal is available in 25 cities now and will be in 50 by the end of the summer. Announcements of The Big Deal will be made through the Angie’s List Facebook and Twitter pages, as well as in e-mails to members and on the company’s website.
